Spencer Gordon is the dynamic CEO and President of NextEnergy.ai, a pioneering renewable energy company based in Fort Collins, Colorado. Demonstrating his multifaceted entrepreneurial spirit, he is also the founder of Guardian Court Services, a company specializing in substance abuse testing and mitigation. Guardian Court Services also offers counseling services for court-mandated counseling. Spencer’s journey began at Spradley Bar Motors in Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he transitioned from being a sales representative to becoming the youngest finance director in the company’s history. His educational pursuits took him from Woodstock High School in Illinois to community college, technical school, and further to trade school where he acquired his NAPSTEP certification in solar and renewable energy.


NextEnergy.ai has grown to a team of 44 people across two states with two separate locations: one in Loveland, Colorado, and the other in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The company is deeply tied to the communities it serves and is a proud member of the Chamber of Commerce in Cheyenne, WY.


Always tech-savvy and innovative, Spencer possesses an unquenchable thirst for knowledge that consistently drives him to pursue new ideas and innovations. He’s a proud member of the Achieve Network, which aids in bringing fresh insights and advancements to enhance the end-user experience in his businesses.


Outside of his professional endeavors, Spencer is a passionate musician. Self-taught on the piano since the age of seven, he also plays the guitar and sings, often recording music in his spare time. A devoted family man with two sons, Jackson and Ethan, Spencer cherishes the outdoors. Whether it’s camping, hiking, exploring, or riding dirt bikes with his boys, he’s always on the move. His love for motorsports extends to an annual 3,000-mile road trip on his motorcycle, a testament to his adventurous spirit.
